HS 1st Year Admission 2025: Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has launched an online platform called the “Darpan” for admission into Higher Secondary courses under the council through online mode . Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online through this web portal for first year courses under Assam State School Education Board for the coming academic session 2025 - 2026. The HS admission process has been started from 17th April 2025.
HS 1st Year Admission 2025
Students who have recently passed the HSLC or equivalent examination and are willing to take admission in HS 1st Year (Class XI) under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) will have to submit online applications through the official admission portal of the council. The online admission portal of ASSEB is called the DARPAN Admission Portal. Using the Darpan Portal, students can take admissions digitally without visiting the institutions.

How To Apply for HS 1st Year Admission?
Students want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC must apply online. They may follow below mentioned steps to submit their applications online.
Step 1: Scroll down, check Important Web Link‘s section.
Step 2: Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
Step 3: A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link.
Step 4: Next you need to enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.
Step 5: Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.
Step 6: Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .
Step 7: Next again click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in again.
Step 8: Select your desired course and colleges/ schools . You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission.
Step 9: At the end, click on submit button and take a print of submitted form for future reference
Step 10: Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.

Students must keep the following listed documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format within maximum size of 1 MB during online application form submission.
- Recent Passport Size Photograph.
- HSLC/ 10th Marksheet (Digital).
- Caste Certificate (As applicable).
- Disability Certificate (As applicable).
- TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (As applicable).
- Gap Certificate (As applicable).

The HS 1st Year Admission Online Application forms Start from 17th April 2025, and the Last Date for the Online Application form is 24th April 2025.
