RBI Officer Grade B Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are interested in Applying for RBI Officer Grade B Recruitment 2025 must ensure that full-fill the required Eligibility Criteria. Below are the complete Details regarding Age limit, Educational Qualification, Application Fees and Selection process.
Age Limit:
The minimum age limit required is 21 Years, and the Maximum age allowed 30 Years as on the date mentioned in the official Notification.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 Years+
- Scheduled Trade (ST): 5 Years+
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 5 Years+
- PwBD Candidate: 10 Years+
Educational Qualification:
(i) Officer Grade B (DR) - General:
- Graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical/professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation in any discipline or equivalent technical/ professional qualification with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in the aggregate of all semesters/ years.
(ii) Officer Grade B (DR) - DEPR:
- Graduate degree options include MA/MSc in Economics or specialized courses like Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Development Economics, and International Economics with Economics as the main focus of the curriculum/syllabus.
- Master's degrees in Finance or related fields such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, International and Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, and Agri Business Finance with a focus on finance as the main subject of study.
- To be eligible for a) and b) above, a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade is necessary in the overall aggregate of all semesters / years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University / Institute.
(iii) Officer Grade B (DR) - DSIM:
- Candidates must possess a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Informatics, or related fields from a recognized Indian or foreign University approved by the Government, UGC, or AICTE.
- A Master's Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, or related fields from a recognized Indian or Foreign University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade approved by Government/UGC/AICTE is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree spanning four years with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks, or an equivalent grade/CGPA, in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Informatics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, or related fields from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute approved or recognized by the Government, UGC, or AICTE.
