The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025 on 23rd March 2025. This prestigious examination recruits eligible candidates for various civil services vacancies, including Assam Civil Services, Assam Police Services, and other allied services in the state.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 38 years old as of 1st January 2024.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for SC, ST(P), and ST(H) candidates, and 10 years for PwBD candidates. Please refer to the official notification for more information.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Regional Language Proficiency: The candidate must be proficient in Assamese or any other official or associate official languages of the State, or any of the tribal languages of Assam.

Residentship: The candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must be registered with a District Employment Office of Assam.

Small Family Norms: Candidates are required to submit a declaration in Form-A regarding “The Small Family Norms” while applying for the APSC CCE (Preliminary) Examination.

Application Fee: The application fee is ₹297.20/- for General candidates, ₹197.20/- for OBC/MOBC candidates, and ₹47.20/- for SC/ST/BPL/PwBD candidates. The payment must be made through the official web portal using the available online payment methods. The payment can be made through Net Banking from any bank or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Cards or UPI Payment.

The Main Examination is conducted in two parts: (A) Written Examination and (B) Interview Test.

How to Apply for the APSC CCE Exam?
